It's a bird! It's a plane! . . . It's a bug?



The Hummingbird Hawkmoth. Well, one out of three ain't bad: this isn't a hummingbird or a hawk, but it is a moth. In addition to size and looks, these guys share with real hummingbirds the ability to hover in place. Distributed throughout the Northern Hemisphere, this one is from the UK.
